Two more quick questions from a newb:

1)  What is the best way to mount the transmitter bracket to the tail section??

2)  Will I be able to register for the VIR races when I get there?  I noticed on the pre-entry form that it says no pre-entries within two weeks of the event.  What about doing it when I get there on Friday or Saturday morning??

You'll be entering for races Friday or Saturday...your grid won't be as good as the racers that pre-entered, but you can enter no problem.

Bracket...  I'd pop two holes through the tail that match the holes on the bracket, then run a zip tie from the outside in, then back out so that it will go through all the holes and go around the transmitter bracket and the transmitter.  Keep it simple.

drill 2 holeson the outside (perpendicular to the bike and run a zip tie across the top of the bracket and when u get your transpnder, put another zip tie around it attaching it to the mount

Sweet!!!  Thanks guys!  The zip ties was what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure.  You know, try to had my newbiness as much as possible.   :-X  Steve, I believe you were the one that offered to let me pit next to you and you would help me out since your buddy was racing for the first time as well, so I'll probably be doing that and annoying the hell out of you with questions, if oyu don't mind.  ;)
