OK, the shop closes at 2:00 p.m., at 2:45 p.m. I call to see how far up the road Paul is....  He's still there bench racing with Ed Key.    ::)

So... I tell Paul to share with Ed that I look forward to seeing him at Road America.  

This is what Ed hears:  "Hey Ed, Dawn says you need to eat more!"

That boy - what am I going to do with him.

Gee, Dawn, sorry to hear about the motor. :(   :( Those things hardly ever blow up like that on the dyno.

I'm punchy from driving all the way over to Madison and back.  At least I got to visit my WI relatives.

BTW, no secrets here.  I didn't go the superbike motor route.  The budget held me to freshening up the motor and adding a few hp to keep up with the newer fuel injected bikes.  

I must have missed Paul and Ed by an hour or so.  I picked up my bike this morning and I'm resisting the urge to fire it up in the garage to hear it.  I've been sitting on it making raspberry sounds instead.

Last summer I thought I heard him talking about doing F40 races this year and thought he was doing the motor for that reason since the SVs were underpowered when they ran one class.

Wish I'd eaten less!  I swore to lose 20 lbs this winter and haven't lost one.  Anybody know how to drop 20 in a month? I'm thinking liposuction at this point. Hmm, I wonder how powerful that shop vac is...;D ;D
