I need help with mounting my Hotbodies upper.  What points are you mounting it to?  I have an 01, but think I got 03-04 bodywork sent...

Also can you keep the instrument panel in or do you have to remove it?  Can you use the stock fairing stay?

Oooooo....

Good question.  Paul has an 01 with Hotbodies, but he has an after, after, aftermarket stay (it's been rebuilt a few times  ::))  Is there a way that you can post a few pictures?  if not, hopefully there will be someone who has done this before.

Nope, no way of posting pic's.  I don't know how far the upper needs to move towards the back to know if I can use the stock one or not.  If I knew an approx. mid mounting place I could tell.  I tried putting it on before drilling anything and cant really tell where it should go?  :P

good luck!I have an 03 and it was a pain in the but because it did not match up to the stock sv mounting tabs.We had to make two custom mounts on the frame and eyeball the holes by the fairing stay.my advise is to send them back and buy the sharkskinz. They redid there stuff for the sv and it fits like a glove with no headache.
