Hey guys
Was wondering what is considered a fast time at Black Hawk Farms on a 600?  I've done a couple of track days and was thinking of racing sometime soon.  I feel really fast there just was wondering if I'd be completive?  Any Help would be nice.

Thanx

Dawn

Ike:

What times are you turning on your 600?

Dawn

well a good time for someone just starting out would be like in the 1:25 to the 1:28

Thanks man,

Then what are the fastest ams running?

Numbskullz113

I think the top amateurs on 600's are running 16's and 17's

Top experts run high 13 - low 14's

thnx dawn,
i dont know what happen to those guy's....
from the start, it seemed like they were all asleep, from the third row, from behind what woulda been the poll sitter (who was absent for some reason or another) she threw out the green and i got a great start (i say this, cuz no one was on the side of me, seems like they never left the line, i was in turn 1 from row 3, all alone) and i never looked back (literaly) my crew said there was a nice gap when i came thru 4 and 5, i know i had lost confidence from a couple of falls, and it was coming back, but i wasnt having the focus on the line either, so thats what was on my mind, my confidence was back, and i was only planning on finishing this race the best i could,..... and there you go, i got my first 1st place  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
of course mike227 wasnt in full agreement with that, he showed me his wheel thrice, two at the bus stop, and once at 6, my eyes were on the race line, until we approached the checkered, we coulda been "slappin" each other "hi-fives" we were so close, realy exciting! my first win came by less than a foot.
i would brag, and say YEAH, I'M FAST...THATS RITE, THATS RITE !!!!
but even tho im faster than i was, its not a 13/14, im still looking for low 18's or even high 17's........but it was a good weekend, 3 top fives, is a first also...

this sh1t is fun!!!

oh yeah, thanks again CCS for making it happen! FORMULA USA is da sheeeiiiiznit   8) ;D ;D ;D ;D 8)

I was up there on Sunday just checking out the races.  All I know is that Andy #19 and #966 (I've never seen or heard of him before) were on rails Sunday.  I got a kick out of watching 966 beat Andy in one of the middle weight races.  Finally someone who can run w/ Andy;) :o :o.  I got both of them at high 1:15s in that race both on 600s!!!  Talk about walking away from the pack!!
So I guess Railingzx6r, if you think you're fast there for an amateur, you better be running 15s  haha. Good luck and maybe see you next year.
