I like take things apart...
Now the wire won't go back in the can.  I think it would be easier to get tooth past back in the tube  ;D

LOL!!!   ;D  I could see myself doing that also!

And just why did you do that?  Wanted to see how it worked?   ???

I was impressed that no matter how much/how fast I pulled, more wire always came out!  I figured it must need batteries and wanted to know how to replace them in advance as it came with no manual...

It's a *really* good thing I don't have pets huh?  ;D
Just kidding  8)

LOL!

Well, mine was unintentional, I swear. I had it packed with a bunch of other junk, and said junk messed up the can, popping the lid off. I couldn't get that wire back in for the life of me.  >:( LOL

So, I ran a ziptie through the middle and around and tied it up to tame the slinky effect down... worked for me.  :-/

Well yeah...  I mean, I have yet to see a lid to a can of safety wire that stays on without duct tape or safety wire itself...

Hey, that's a pretty good idea! Too late now, but hopefully I'll remember that for my next can.  :-[

I'm going to design a cost-efficient upgrade to the current safety wire cans... and make MILLIONS!!!! Muahahahahahah! ;D
