Road America Kink

Last I heard - the kink was resolved by putting in some sort of chicane before it. Am I wrong? I see nothing like that on the RA website.. Is it still the same?????

yea,   the kink is re-configured.

You take a Hard left then a quick right and back on the original corse.

I dislocated my shoulder there last October during a track day!

The old kink was great.  Nothing like banging off the rev-limiter in 5th and sliding front and rear while going through it...  

I don't know why, but I really liked that corner.  Didn't like the wall, but loved the corner.

Should be better with the curbing finally installed.  I think I lost a slider in the mud last time through.
It is one more place to pass, just remember it's there though.

LOL...  Kinda like turns 5 & 6 during the new rider's first lap around the track...  

T5 bites everyone new since they can't judge the 50mph corner coming down from warp1, and then T6... LOL...  "hey, what are all these people checking up for, it's just a hill!?!?"
