William Meyers in AMA Supersport???

William (CCS 477 I think) was running really well (1:57s) in 18th place and then tucked the front in the chicane.  Can anyone provide an update on him?

William is ok overall according to his mother. COmpression fracture of a t6 vertebra. Was very very close to a 1:56 lap time.. 1:57.17..  He will be back in no time..

Thats a tough break for him. Hope him heal soon. Was real excited to see a fellow rookie do so well. Couldn't believe how fast he was. If he didn't get hurt at the ROC he would have won most races I think. Well at least he made the highlight reel for the SS race. I think they showed it like 5 times, even in the ending credits.

yup.. he won all 4 ntl championship races before a crash kept him out of his other 4 races. i finished 2nd and 3rd  behind him in my 2 races on a borrowed bike and felt very very good about it. I beat him in 1 race at Jennings, my "home" track my 4th race weekend as an AM. Never again though.. went "0" for 6 against him after that .

that sound like me and hector, beat him once at daytona and crashed out another time in front of him at roebling (well in even competition, he always gridded all the way back for the rest of the year it doesnt really count). Never again lol maybe this year, maybe this year

I saw hector's bike sitting infront of the welder shop, so it couldn't have been good. Talked to him at tech, I think it is just not a good weekend for him. Kind of reminded me of Alex's weekend a year ago.

yup, i'll be there riding w/nesba on the south course sat & sun and the north on mon.  i know alot of you guys will be racing w/wera but i want to stick with my plan of a bit of practice first before the pressure cooking begins! :)

plus i want to test my arm a bit as well...
