QuoteBTW anyone racing in the Team Challenge race at Daytona or Road America?

Yep, DanO, Brian Hall and myself are doing the entire FUSA TC series this year.  We'll be at Daytona... can't wait  :)

SD,

I knew Matt Wait was a 500cc GP rider, but that just adds to the frustration of having to be in excellent shape, have my bike setup well and be ready to go when the flag drops.

I say all of this to elicit these kinds of responses.  All of this helps keep me focused on what I really should be doing when I am on the track, not the bs.

It's good to think about hamburgers and hotdogs when racing. It eases the mind.

I raced against Eanes all season, and ended up second to him in south East Heavy Weight Superbike points...He earned it, and there is no annimosity here.  He is a nice guy and his team mate last season Rick Masters is awesome too.
If i could afford a bike like that and a semi, i would have it all, i dont care how fast or slow i am, and anyone here would own that bike if they could afford it...its a bad ass machine..Ive never heard anyone knock Chewy for owning Foggy's old bike.

Just curious..whats he gonna be on this year?

No annimosity here either, I got 2nd in SE Super twins behind Eanes on a  little old 853 Duck. I think he is a super nice guy too after talking to him several times. I was just being realistic , it was the bike in the Am class and nobody can argue that, even Eanes. You just cant compeat in the Am classes with a bike that will go close to 200mph down the front straight at Roebling or on the banks at Daytona. Its not about rider skill anymore, its about how much money you can drop on a bike, thats all. I would like to own the baddest bike on the block and beat everyone if I could afford it just like anyone else but it would not be as rewarding to me as it is to win a LTW SS class title on a $3000 SV, which is what I did. I can say it was rider skill and not how much money I dumped into a trick bike. If me and Eanes were on equal bikes I would like to see what would happen. That is why I like the Supersport class so much more than the others, its more about rider skill.  I think Chewy is getting compleaty out of racing, his Semi and Bike are all for sale, if they arent sold already. BTW if anyone can afford it Eanes bike has been on E-bay several times with a starting bid of $40,000, no one bid on it im pretty sure, unless it has sold off e-bay they probably still have it.

so whats he getting for a new bike? anyone know?
I wonder if Pegram will really be his teammate, cause as far as i know, Pegrams FUSA license was revoked

They're on R6's.

Pegram is providing the transporter and some other sponsors, and Eanes is HIS team-mate, though I'm sure some of his finances had something to do with it.

Since when was Pegram's FUSA license revoked?

contrary to what alot of people think it is the rider,i have seen riders on supersport 600's do 14's at roebling rd.look at the times at daytona...s.s.600's running within 3 seconds a lap of full blown superbikes putting out 60 more hp(on a hp track)if someone beats you give them the praise they earned or say nothing...it's cheap and shallow to say the only reason they won is because of hp.i lost alot of respect for some of the ama pro riders when they started whinning that Maladin and Yates had an unfair advantage yet the hondas had higher trap speeds and a v twin gets out of the corners better...just my 2 cents :)

The only way to determine the best rider is for everyone to be on equal bikes. ;D The only way. According to you if I was on a 180hp Ducati and Mat Maladin was on an 70hp SV he would beat me, I would win at Daytona or Roebling, dont you think so? ;D ;D
