Just curious to see how many people are superstitious after they have there bike freshly painted....Do you purposely set it on the ground before getting on it, to you may say "get the goblins out?" I have a couple friends who as soon as they get something new, like a helmet they literally put the first scratch on it! The leathers, they put them on and roll on the ground....so..lets hear it!!  :D

Not.

But I have seen way to many new things hit the ground.  So, I don't baby stuff like it's some kind of herloom product.  The scratches will come.  I just don't want to do it all at once...

Like my R6 (brand new) in April of last year.  Tossed it real nice that weekend... 8)

Same here Dave, Used to baby stuff, Thats when bad would strike. I saw it street riding all the time, buddies would point out a small scratch on there bike that night it would be in the back of a pickup totalled. And one time I had this favorite pair of boxers that I kept clean...."Then bad would strike" ;D I do like stuff freshly done in the begining of the year though. 8)
