We are to run the dark blue.  Dafan was correct we will not be on the bowl.  But when u look at the pic of the dark blue u will see a light gray line ( that line is a to be a wall.  The straight with the kink. .. the out side of it has a wall.  For a better view of that oh so nice long wall.  some of the wall is already up

I rode by the track yesterday to check on progress since December. None.  In fact, everything was covered with undisturbed snow, so it's been awhile since anything has been done.

If we have a lot of wet weather it won't be done on time.

if you're able to get by the track often and would update the rest of us now and then on the tracks progress I'd appreciate it..and any pics would be a big plus!  ;D

I just drove by there today and went into the construction area.  It looks like they have asphalt down on about 1/4 of the track.  Much of the track is still being built up with dirt and corrugated drainage pipes.  The good news is that a lot of construction loaders and cats were out there working away, but it will be a close call to have it all done by this year.  On another note, exept for the bowl it looks like the concrete barriers are on the inside of the track.

I was out at Summit main today watching my sister's fiance race his kart.  Of course I checked on the Shenandoah circuit.  There was no noticeable progress since I was last out there. ???

There is a lot yet to be done and only a few months to do it.  They have already cancelled the scheduled May events and there are 5 events planned for June.
