Midwest schedule conflict

GSXR RACER MIKE

I was looking at the latest schedules as posted on the CCS website with the changes to the GL Region and addition of the N Region and noticed a conflict in the schedules. Of the 20 Regional events listed between the MW/GP/GL/N Regions, I noticed that all are on seperate weekends except for the 2 events listed for the weekend of October 9 & 10. The GL Region has an event listed at Nelson Ledges for both days, and the MW & N Regions have an event listed at Gingerman on Sunday the 10th only. Is this correct in being overlapping like this? I am trying to do decide which (or even all) of those 4 regions to follow for the '04 season, and this conflict would make the decision for me.

I would assume a single region event at that time of the year would be somewhat sparse in attendance, and a triple region would be somewhat better. Would it be possible to shift all 3 regions to the Gingerman event for people looking to follow multiple regions? Or possibly have the CCS races at Nelson on Saturday, and then have the normal event at Gingerman on Sunday? (kind of like a twin sprint weekend at 2 different tracks).

Nelson Ledges is just GL.  Gingerman is MW & Northern according to the website schedule.

Still kind of a conflict.

Nelson is going to be Bob Stanley's organization.  He'll have a fair turn out without riders from the West.  He was on his own for a while, then worked with WERA as an affiliate.  Certain reasons caused him to leave WERA and work with CCS.

I believe, at least this is what the mailer stated, that the GL became the Northern Region.  The Fasttrax region is a new region that carries the GL name only.  Scheduling conflicts may occurs, as expected with the addition of new regions, but those that ran in the GL last year, should look at the Northern region if you want to maintain a similar schedule this year.  If not, enjoy all of that good racing this side of Lake Michigan and run Fasttrax, or do both.

Super Dave

It's Lake Wisconsin on this side.

Well we're on Lake Superior and that does nothing at all for us in the racing scene!!!!

Our old airport is just waiting to be turned into a road course.  It would be perfect.  Of course, they'd have to salt it until June 15, but that's no big deal.

Speaking of conflicts...

Someone please tell me we're not really racing on Monday, July 5 at Mid-America after being there for entire holiday weekend...is this a misprint?
