 OK, I'm my normal cantankerous self, but why on earth would she do that? Publicity? How public does she need to be for gods sake. I enjoy tits as much as the next guy but JJ, J Lo, Brittany, and Modonna have all gotten into a race to be the trashiest. Sex sells though.

I think that was just a really stupid stunt that they pulled.  To have them say it was an accident.....  No, we're not stupid here.

The half time show basically sucked.  What type of demagraphics do they think they were broadcasting to?  I said to Paul "Can you imagine you parent's or our grandparents watching this?"  

Thank goodness that Renee didn't want to watch the show, just the football game.  At 11-1/2 half (or any age for that matter) she doesn't need to see dancers dry humping each other.   ::)

I agree with you, Dawn. You can't tell me that she would have that piercing on if she wasn't planning on showing it off. I like sex and naked women more than almost anything, but keep it in it's proper channels.

My take on whether it was a "wardrobe malfunction", and whether it was a "planned" event.

Ok, I'm a former dancer. You cannot just accidentally make that move and have it work so well. Dancing is rehearsed ad naseum, and that move was practiced. If you watch the tape, Justin curls his fingers and was clearly intending to pull off the cup of the bustier.

Second, as a costume designer for almost 2 decades, you don't have stuff that falls apart, especially in vinyl or leather, not for that caliber of client. If you look at the photo close up, it's clear that there is a line of snaps that attached the cup to the bustier. Supposedly there was some red lace bra underneath. Again, you can see red lace on the cup, but it looks to me like a trim and if janet would have been wearing a bra, the leather/vinyl cup being removed would not have affected the alleged red lace bra cup in any way.

Third, who cares? It's a breast, get over it. In Europe, they are much less inhibited, and this wouldn't have been a big deal at all. This is taking precedence in the news over much more important issues. Janet got what she wanted out of it, she's on all the news stations and in all of the gossip. The old saying show business goes "you can say what ever you want about me, just spell my name right."

For the record, I still think SD in a thong wins over both of 'em.  ;) :D ;D
