Just got my W-2 today.
With the amount I paid in taxes this year I could have...
Bought a NEW SV650
Full body work
Nice suspension
A few motor mods
Paid ALL my track & CCS fees
and would have enough left over to buy the girlfriend a nice Valentines day present (I'll still do that anyway...)

I don't make all that much either BUT I live in Philadelphia (city wage tax...)  I'm done venting, thank you :'(

heehee, with the amount i got back i'm funding my entire 2004 racing season (and then some).

My refund this year is putting a new transmission in my Dakota, up dating parts on the Buell (Thats a direct stab at you Oompa Loompa boy!  Lookout! ;)) Paying off all the credit cards and still have some left over to start the season strong! Lookin like a good season already!  8)

Luckily I get a few bucks back this year.  Last year I owed big time though.
Did you know that Income tax was put in place to fund World War 2?  Maybe someone should tell the IRS that it's OVER!

It's City, Stat & Fed.  I guess I shouldn't complain too much though, I am a state employee  :o ;D

Vote for Bush unless you want to pay even more in the future.

I'd rather move to a deserted island.  If I did I'd probably be accused of housing Weapons of Mass Destruction and be extradited anyway...  ;D

Hey, or let's elect John Edwards.  He made millions as a trial lawyer.

Hmm, trial lawyer gets millions for lady that burns herself on hot coffee...hmmm.

Because of that insurance rates go up and up.  Company finds that insurance rates for liability and medical are a lot lower in another country, so it leaves.  "Mike" has no job, and money that used to go to "Mike" for wages now goes over seas.

Mike now has to pay more for his medical insurance because the companies that his insurance carrier invested in aren't doing so well because they have to carry so much liability insurance and they need to move all their stuff over seas.

Did I mention that all the toys that "Mike" buys his kids don't work?  They were all made by the company he worked for, and now carry warnings about lead.  All the RC toys have the same frequency.  Oh, but they were cheap.

"Mike's" doctor is quitting his practice.  Seems as though the insurance his doctor pays is beyond what he can even dream of making.  Now he's going to be a consultant to either an insurance company or a law firm.

Should I keep going?

So, why doesn't anyone want to pass Bush's idea on capping lawsuits?
