but dave...............who is in charge of the person that gives out the number?i dont want any beef with you cause your a good guy and i have alot of respect for you.just none for the way ccs does some things.did you know that dean dosent get number 69 in the midwest?seems there was some mistake or something.and another guy gets it.they gave him 69 in a region he dosent even race in.dean would never say this because hes such a nice guy so i will.ccs screwed him over.so whos in charge?and whos to blame?maybe not kevin.but as far as ive always known.....hes the main man.so id like to hear from him.    Rich Feagin.

Super Dave

I'm with you.

I believe that Tiff handles all the rider issues.

This forum is not a place for the CCS staff to try to wade through questions...additionally, they are going to the Indy Show and Daytona is coming...contingency, everything...has to be a mad house down there.

Things like that have to be handled directly.  Actually, most things need to be handled that way.  Occasionally, Kevin, Eric, or Tiff will cruise the board, but, honestly, most of the banter on the board is about "unofficial" stuff.

It's Dean's number.  Now they gave it to Brian.  Someone made a mistake.

im not even going to reply to any of this garbage but you guys have alot of things wrong

Super Dave

What's wrong, Brian?

Quotei had to win alot of races to get it and be at the right place at the right time lol
when i went to my first race i told the girl what number i wanted , this is in southwest last year ,and see said noway i will get that #, Rob Martin has it,well he stopped racing and nobody knew that
so she checked and i got it
as for the mid west region i am in now i dont really know just luck i guess

Two digit numbers really aren't given out on the basis of how well anyone does in CCS.  If it's available, you can grab it.  I've seen first year experts get two digit numbers after following part of the series as an amateur.

If you move regions, well, you've got to work with the different region's numbers.  I do know that Dean had 69 for quite a while, in the Midwest region.  If he missed the dead line, I don't know, but there is the claim that he didn't.

FUSA, well, you can "buy" your number.

I don't know what to say.  I'm not sure it anything is garbage, but somewhere there is bad communication...that's all.

i was joking about winning races, that was before all this started, second i do race in midwest and i did send my application in on time and from what im told dean didnt, third i didnt pay for anything, i didnt buy my number for fusa i asked for it and got it, fourth my number has nothing to do with nicky my father raced cars from the 60s to the 80s and used this number and im carrying on the tradition
i dont care what region i race under its all the same to me but i got 69 in midwest what can i tell you sorry
dean,i dont think we will ever be on the track at the same time anyways, i race all heavyweight and unlimited stuff and i dont believe you race in those classes, so thats all i have to say Dave ill see you in one of your schools

Super Dave

Yeah, isn't it just a PIA?

I mean, you're both good guys and all...

Something is just messy by it.  I doubt that you'll both be able to have the number.

I moved from Omaha to Wisconsin in 1994.  Same kind of thing, but I was using a 1.  I was the "Great Plains" champion, and I was from that region, but now I lived in the "Midwest" region.  Ended up having to swap "X's" between me and the other guy...but 1's are a bit different.

Dave is correct, Tiffiney handles the "Top Ten" numbers for each region and before the January 9th deadline, she verified 2003 numbers being renewed. Any form received after January 9th was put into the stack of those asking for numbers by date. (That meant anyone who missed the deadline went behind all those from earlier who were asking for new numbers, or about 400 riders, give or take a few.)

Please remember this is an "unofficial" CCS BBS, and while we respond on here sometimes, we do not read this every day (or even every week). The best way to get an answer is to e-mail us, not post it here.

Thanks everyone, and especially "Super Dave" #21.... ;D
