Numbers on helmets

Now that we have to put our number on our helmets, does it need to be distinguished whether we are a amatuer or expert? Also, if i am not on the list for my competition number, is there anyway i can find out if i still have the same number before the first race?

Hey Kim.  Did you send in your license renewal yet?  If not, I think your # from last year is back on the list and up for grabs.  But there's probably a good chance you can get it again when you sign up for races (especially here in the SW).

Thanks for looking out for me!  ;) I sent in my renewal a couple weeks ago...I saw that i did get it again, Tiff posted more #'s yesterday....yup... #171 easy to put the numbers on instead of 2345689!

Yes, only the number needs to be on the helmet, and that is for quick and accurate identification in a multiple bike incident. (It doesn't have to be fancy, an adhesive dot with the number written on it with a magic marker will work just fine.)

Experts use white sticky and Amatuers use yellow sticky, problem solved  ;D
