LWSS combined w/ Thunderbike

I think that will kill off Thunderbike in the SW.  Currently its not a big class, and at least 75% of the people running it are on LWSS legal bikes.  Now forced to choose between LWSS, which has more contingency oppertunities and pays overall points, and Thunderbike, which do you think people will choose?  >:(

I am planning on running Thunderbike on my motard (not SS legal), but am I going to have anyone to race against ???

I wanted to race my H1 in Thunderbike because it won't be legal in LWSS.  But I want to race against all the SS bikes.  Really too bad.

This just BITES!!  >:(  Not happy about this at all! Is there anything we can do at this stage of the game to get this changed?  ??? If not, then I have to re-think my whole stratagy for the season.

Ah well.  Can't say I'm surprised.  First all the LW Sportsman & SuperSingles get combined into one class, and now this.  Race a 600 or don't race at all.  They should change the name to CCS600.

Doesn't work for me. I plan to run two different bikes in the Lightweight Classes, plus Thunderbike.

If we have to combine classes, can't we at least combine with classes that don't conflict?

They ran LWSS combined with Thunderbike in FL last year.  It sucked, as I would have ran both classes had they been seperate, instead I was forced to choose (LWSS).  Then for an extra class I ran LW GP, which isn't exactly a great class for an SV.

But in FL last year we were lucky to get 5 entries in a LW race at FL only events..  I think I did a SE event where I got 2nd, out of 2 experts..

Well, that's fine and all...

But I'm not racing in either class.  Maybe someday when the H1 is done.

It really should be done by someone that does race either class.
