Super Dave

My formal dates for instruction are available for current licensed racers.

Please note that some of my programs are for LICENSED RACERS ONLY.  This is something that I've done for a while, and I enjoy doing it.  I alwaus felt that racers were left out when schools offered instruction.

Additionally, I am available for one on one and small group instruction.  I can do this at Sportbike Track Time events or at an open track that is available near you.

Drop me a PM or an e-mail if I can help!

How about some MA dates, perhaps Summit Main?  I think you'd get strong responses.

Super Dave

I won't schedule them as part of my regular program, but I am available for one on one or group work.

I think there are a few guys that are going to bring me out for a day at Summit, but that's up to individuals, or groups to work that out with me.

You have a date in mind?

I don't have a date in mind, but would be interested in a one-on-one session. My preference would be for a date early in the season, April/May timeframe. Thoughts?

Super Dave

Drop me a note with your location and some date ideas, and we can go from there.  Putnam in early April?

Sure wish that was a CCS event like it use to be! :'( I really like that track!

So Dave, I sure hope your saving me a spot for that 1st BHF VRS University this season. Could you send me an e-mail when the enrollment forms are available? Thanks!

I'll probably send a general e-mail and try to update these posts too.  I keep running out of time...AAAAHH!  Should have it done by the weekend.

Precurser to this post:  I am extremely drunk right now so, don't read any further if you think this will make sense to me tomorrow.
Super Dave, what will your class offer me that Schwantz and Spencer didn't?  I am trying to get to Kenny Robert's Gp school in Spain.  Should I cancel and go to yours instead?

Super Dave

Good question.

Haven't been able to afford either of those myself.

I think you should go to Spain if you can afford it, just for fun.

I was never gifted as a rider.  So, it was a long road for me, and I learned a lot.  I don't think anyone stops learning, really.

I'm probably like most racers, where the individuals you mentioned are not like most racers.

So, I have a lot of different ways of looking at things.  I seem to have the ability to recognize minor things that seem to be happening to a rider and bike.  Sometimes, it's something the bike is doing that is causing the rider to do something.  Riders react to feedback that the bike gives, even though they might not recognize it.  I'm pretty capable of getting a rider to look at things quite a bit differently and give them an understanding of feel.

I don't have the overhead like the other guys too.  So, I have smaller programs that cost less money, and I can even be bought for certain events one on one.

My reality was that any good information that I got was good.  Some info wasn't.  Most of my really good info came from Dale Quarterley.  That got me in tune to lots of things that I didn't recognize.  Racing vintage motorcycles for a few years for some guys taught me way too much about chassis.  Anyway, I have a different perspective.

That help?

Sober now but with a hangover.  That was a hell of an answer Dave and you convinced me that your school will probably be an excellent school to attend.
As far as talent goes, I have none.  I'm just a celebrity chaser.  Kenny Roberts would laugh at me and throw me off his track.
The only thing I have going for me is that we have Janisch's bike.  The kid guaranteed me that I would be fast as him if we bought his bike.  I'm 6'3" 230#.  Was he lying to me?
Going to look at your schedule now,
Rich

Ah, you got Jesse's bike!

Well, I would call http://4and6.com and get the right springs for the SV.

Jesse gained some weight during the year, but not that much...LOL!

Paul Buxton locally is about your size, so a lightweight bike can still go fast with a bigger guy...consider that the bike just has more balast for stability.... ;D

SD -- let me set how long a drive it would be to Putnam for early April, I may be able to work something out, but time is typically the rarest commodity, that's why I was shooting for a something close to NVa/DC (my loc).  I'll try calling you this week.
