QuoteMe! I'll be on no bike this year, so changing from an SV650 to a pedal bike.  :'(

Can't use pedal bikes at Daytona, Nate.  Working on a golf cart though.

Sorry, nothing new for me.  R6 again, but I think I'll have a full exhaust rather than just a slip on.  Maybe some kind of fuel thing too to clean up the lean-ness up top.

Maybe the H1 will run...?

Dave,

You may not have bought a new bike but maybe it'll feel like a new bike since you've straightened the frame?   ;D

The man with the $200K spine...

Super Dave

LOL, yeah, but I did it in stages...

April...toss it end over end six to eight times?

July...easy low side.

September...toss it 25 feet in the air.

Imagine how fast it will be next year.

The Buell is perfect! No changes at all in the bike department... now, as far as attitude changes. Lookout, here I come!  ;)

Paul will still be on the SV....

... but after we get the motor done, I don't know how much money we'll have for racing this year.   :'(

Dawn, are you guys just rebuilding and/or getting a SS motor job, or doing a SB motor?

We're probably going with the Super Bike route.  There is a way you can build them so that they are pretty reliable.  Since 700cc SV's are legal for all classes except for Super Sport, Paul decided to go that route and not run SS any longer.

Just think...If you didn't just say that, you could have run SS this year too. ;)

I can't believe the cheating that goes on in this series.  >:(

That's a GOOD point, Dave.  >:( There is a lot of it out there. Sometimes more obvious than that, like 750 motors in 600s.  :o (I know it's happened besides the guy who did it in the AMA as well)

Dawn: That makes sense. Just curious what the plans were.

So, is the secret to the AM LWSS Championship using the knowledge of Super Dave to improve riding, and then showing up at EVERY event?

Yeah, to be in the running, you've got to show up.  Do really, really well at the beginning so you can cruise, if you can.

Starting the season at Daytona always helps.  Just gets you aclimatized to things very quickly.

And, yes...I can help...

Even if you don't use what S. Dave teaches you, showing up at ALL the events is key.  Consistency my friend..consistency
