 When a plane is hijacked pilots are trained to activate their beacons. Four seconds later the tower and the FAA understand their bird has been jacked. It takes less than 5 minutes to scramble 16s to the White House from MD. Please explain how four hijacked airplanes received 20-30 minutes to meet their demises?  

Right now that is the case, we didn't have alert birds all over the country back then. We only had alert fighters on the coasts and borders.   Also airline pilots were trained to comply with hijackers and save the passengers lives.  Obviously the rules have changed.  Now if it were to happen again it would be a very different result.  I for one know I'd go down fighting before I'd let them take over the airplane.

Doesnt everyone agree we have to kill the terrorist before they kill us? That is the main thing that came from 9/11, we have to take them out before they try to get us. Before 9/11 it was let them hit us and then we hit back, that policy was changed and I am glad it did ;D The libs dont understand this concept, they think if you love everyone all over the world they will love you back, not. They dont understand these fundamentalist Islamist do not want the USA to exist and will stop at nothing, even killing themselfs in the process, to destroy us. We have to identfy them and kill them or at the very least lock them up and throw away the key. We can also not be scared into not going about our everyday lives or they will win again. :D

Would I?  Yes, but I have put in my time.  

Most people don't put in time in the military anymore, and probably for good reason...they aren't cut out for that kind of work.

The answer is YES!  I have been a Marine for the past 20 years.  Retire in July.  Hope to meet some more of you this upcoming season.
