Dang rat bastige hit my car and took off.  This wouldn't be unusual on the street, but the car was parked on my property in the driveway next to the garage!  There is a synagog across the alley from my garage, and the plow driver managed to back into my car while he was plowing the lot.  You could see his backup marks over and over as he worked, but obviously he didn't see the car.  Because I park it behind the trailer it hangs out further than my truck, but still 3 feet out of the alley and up on my property.  He hit it in the  driver's rear bumper, messing up the bumper and bending the exhaust.  This pushed the car sideways and forward.  The passenger side hit the neighbors fence, hurting the fence more than the car, but still denting it.  Worst is the car's nose.  It was parked facing my race trailer, and when the car was shoved forward it took the trailer hitch right into the hood, thus bending the $#!% out of it.  It wasn't a very expensive car, but at least it didn't have any dents and didn't look too bad when I washed it.  Now it looks all ghetto, with damage in three places.  The cops took an accident report and I think I got a piece of the truck's step bumper.  They are going to do an investigation in the next couple days.  I hope they catch the guy, but it would be a pretty major miracle.
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Chris:

Contact the synagog.  Since most non-residential properties have to pay for snow removal.  I'm sure they know who was plowing the lot for them.

LOL, Chris.  How much bad luck can you have this year?  I think we need to have an exorcism.

Will it involve plenty of wholsome, nutritious alchohol?
You know, my year hasn't been that bad.  I'm not bankrupt, homeless or starving.  I had lots of good times to go with the bad, was shown the true love and generosity of my friends, stole two championships, and I can still walk!

Like Stumpy says, you southern guys don't get to feel a vehicle slide like we do for 9 months a year.  You just don't get that experience of learning how to recover and congratulating yourself when you do!

Yes, he does pull the e-brake EVERY time we turn a corner these days.

Can a Honda Accord highside?

Maybe my great tale of woe will make you feel a little better  ;D

I have 3 cars, car A (84 BMW) is apart in my garage for major surgery and while pulling car B (89 Camry)into the driveway, one of the front axles tears apart.  THis is strange as the axle is less than a year old but the car has been stolen recently (another story...).  I take the next day off work (friday) and finish re-assembling the BMW.  Now I have the problem that the Camry is in the way and doesn't move.  I have another garage directly acrossed the alley so I decide to push the Camry with the BMW as I've done this many times.  The alley is elevated with the driveways sloping down into the garages.   Well I pushed just a little too hard...  Camry goes over the hump, down the other driveway, into my trailer (which is sideways), shoves the trailer into and through the garage door and into car C (1940 Dodge).  The Dodge won, the trailer stopped shedding it's lights on BOTH sides and bending up one of the fenders.  Luckilly the garage door made out OK, just a small hole and a little re-assembly  ;D
