Well how long to drive down to Barber there Xian? :D 14-16 HOURS one way from BHF?

HOPEFULLY, the schedule changes. Perosnally I'd rather have a BHF event in early april before many of us go to RA. Best to get some of the cobwebs out before we hit the big bad RA. :D

I made it to Barber from Rockford, Illinois in 12 1/2 hours or so, but I keep moving when I travel, don't get bogged down by un-neccesary stops. It also appears that only the GP region will be going there anyways (from the 3 MW regions), so you won't have to go there if you don't want to.

I am planning on going to the 1st HP event, so that won't be an issue for me at RA. I have been lucky so far and not had bad weather for the 3 opening HP events I attended in the past, the worst was 35* in the morning, but it was 60* by race time so it wasn't a problem. I am wondering about that mid-November HP event though. Weather.com has averages on their site and it says the avg. temp at that time is 44* with avg. low at 34* and avg. high at 54*. The record high at that time was in the 80's and the record low was in the single digits! That might be an interesting event.
