Anybody know the biggest KTM dealer that would probably get one that  I could send a deposit to so I can get on the list?

You might try Corse Superbikes here in Wisconsin. Great group of people, beautiful dealership near Road America and they do a lot to support the sport.

And another excuse to visit Blackhawk.  Or I could pick it up and ride it to the Penn and deliver it to you...  Let's see, Milwaukee to Deals Gap, then up the Blue Ridge Parkway...
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

OK, I'll schedule a Jan 2005 delivery and you can pick it up, ride the gap then ride it up here. (Snicker)
Oh, and I just e-mailed Corse to see if I can put a deposit on it now to get a position. We'll see!

I'm sorry, perhaps it's the orange, but the bike seems like a whole lot of ugly.  :P I mean it has a lot of cool things but the sharp angular styling? What has gotten you so excited about it Doug?

I really like the styling and I'm typically rather conservative.

I just don't like all the hard angles, just too futuristic for my tastes.

I think it's fun.  I like new, goofy looking things though.

I have big ideas of throwing some 20"s on a Honda Element, too.  Not everyone's taste, I know!   ;)

Oldguy gets new toys.  Whoo hoo!

Ah yes, the crazy square look.  Originally started by Toyota in 1998 with the Echo and adopted the next year by the Pontiac Aztec and the Honda Passport.  It's nice to see that "stealth" styling didn't miss motorcycling.  You should consider painting it blue and watching "Tron" a few times  ;D

I like it, I think it needs just a little in the way of body graphics though.

Notice that there aren't usually mirrors in a showroom.  I don't want to think of what I'd look like with that thing between my knees.  It's pretty though!
