Anybody use "Tire Bakers?"

Yes, but the Tire Bakers have better insulation built into the tire warp, so you don't need to generate as much heat to get the tire to the same temperature.  In this case, the lower wattage is an advantage, not a disadvantage as you suggest.

I've used mine for a year and have been very satisfied.  I have used tyr sox in the past, but they never seemed to get the tires hot enough.
