Super Dave

Wanted to thank those for all the help that I got during the season!

K3...put my stuff back together AND let me borrow a bike for something else.

Don DeChant...found me some parts that I needed...a windscreen and some other things that I haven't rotated out.

I think the Buxton's helped K3 put my bike back together in April too.

You're all great.  I am so lucky for being able to have such nice people around me.

I can't say exactly what I'm doing for 2004, but I do have some ideas.  I can say that Nate Reik of Motosliders http://www.motosliders.com will be my crew chief for the season.  Hopefully, I'll have something prepared for release in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks everyone! ;D

At least I'll have something to do instead of moping around about being bikeless.  ;D

Looking forward to next season!  8)

They say that what comes around goes around.  Thanks for the thanks, Dave, but I've always felt like I owed you more than I could ever repay.  You've been an awesome teacher, mentor and friend to me.  The bits of success that have come my way in racing would probably never have happened without your help and influence.  I hope that whatever new paths you take will be successful, and that you'll still involve me when and where you can!
Go Super Dave!!!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Thanks, guys.

I'm just hoping to pull off what I'm trying to do for this coming season.  Then again, don't we all try to do that?

Dave?  Didn't Don also loan you his bike for a good chunk of the season when your R6 was down with blown cases? ;D
BTW, My editor LOVED the photo of you and your mangled Yamaha so much that he made sure I commented on it in the Hustler Report.  I think he's gonna make you a star, baby! 8)

Yes, Don did.  You and I love the man.... ;D

Late May Blackhawk and the next weekend at Gateway.  Got my Yamaha back together with enough time to make it to Mid America a the beginning of July.  Just in time...Tired, and hot.

What's this about a picture?

Dave your a good guy , even though the sheep aren't sure!  4&6 Performance will be there next season to help you again.  Jim

Super Dave

LOL!  Always back to sheep!

Jim, thanks.  And to think that I didn't need cases...you fixed them.  That was way cool!  She was a missile, and it was all so simple.

I can't express the happiness I have in working with you.  After chasing Todd and Mike around all those years ago...everything has came full circle.  If I only knew then what I know now...LOL! 8)

Yep!  Don was my first racing mentor, and he's still a great friend.  I just wish he'd race more often...

You probably still had birdies flying around your head, but you might vaguely remember that I snapped a picture of you and your balled up piece of shi... er, R6 right after you came in off the crash truck.  Kurt loved it, so i think it will be in the next issue of the paper...

No birdies for me...my head never hit the ground.  The bike sure did five to eight times...

The picture on my home page on my website, I think is the first lap after we got it out for the last race...I'm leading.... ;D

When I think how many parts I swapped and straightened that day, it makes me proud that it didn't just fly to pieces when you tried to race it again... ;)

Super Dave

I've raced with pieces coming off...holding my leg around fairings...pulling clip-ons back into place.  Sucks, but sometimes part of the game.

As long as we had brakes...I was happy... ::) ;D
