sonofabitch, they changed the article on me!!

sorry

r6_philly

so I wonder if sportbike 600 & 750 is going to have the same, or smaller purses. And if the races are going to be shorter. If they keep superbike and ULGP, then I have 4 races to choose from on Sundays...

I wish I knew what the start of this thread said.  ???

As for the new FUSA class they're talking about, to give 750s and Twins someplace to race, I sent my suggestion to Kevin Elliot, which was to make an Unlimited Sportbike class, which would allow those AND 1000s. 750s and Big Twins are on their way out at the higher levels of racing. Which means it doesn't seem to make sense (to me) to be *adding* classes just for them down here at the lower levels. Sportbike is a max hp/min weight formula. Why not set the specific #s so that relatively stock 1000s can still fit in the class while still allowing 750s and Twins to be competitive?

No need to respond here. Email Kevin Elliott with your desires. But do it now. The rules committee meets tomorrow.

I posted the original thread but retracted it when an articlce changed (it had to do with displacement of 600s in Superbike).

Anyway, I hear Suzuki is tossing in money to the series to have the 750 class and thus the only reason F/USA is still in existance.
