Can I get bumped back down now that I only have 1 arm to race with?  :-*

QuoteI've finished my annual list of who's getting bumped!  Want to know if you're on it?  Want to know who's going to try to cherry pick next year?  I'm just kidding, but if you'd like to know ahead of time so you can start in on that petition, I'll be happy to let you know.
:D

Contingency cash... sure was nice while it lasted :P

Only if you keep the 600. ;)

Tiff...

What about me??

Will you guys accept the same petition letter from last year if I just change the dates???

Or should I try to work on a new excuse??

 ;D

I still haven't found my crayons.  :'(

Tom Fredricks

Tiff, How about MW AM #91 Tom Fredricks, I also noted that the points have not been changed.......I hope at least i get the proper awards at the banquet ;D, I would hate to have Rob walk past with my "stuff". It would scar me for life. ;D

            Love Tom.
P.S. Your hair looks real nice today......That had nothing to do with a possible petition ;D

Since I see regional champions that got held down as amateurs...

And guys that made three events get bumped up to expert...

An expert is allowed to move down for one year right?  Can I move down?  I could do a really nice FUSA Unlimited GP series and the Blackhawk Championship...if I ride well...

For the benefit of those who will be submitting petitions to remain amateur for 2004 the following letter is provided.  Feel free to fill in the blanks as needed.

Dear CCS,

I hereby petition to remain as an amateur for 2004 for the following reasons:

1. I never finished higher than _______ in any race during 2003. (note: delete this section if you had any finishes higher than 5th)

2. My racing budget for 2004 will only be $______.
Therefore I will only be able to attend ____ races.
(delete this section if the first figure is more than $1000 or the second figure is greater than 2)

3. Due to injuries sustained during the 2003 season I will have no/limited (delete as needed) use of my _______ (identify limb) until _________. (insert date here)

4. I am unclear what the ______ (insert color here) flag means.

5. I have yet to get my bike out of ______ (insert number) gear on the track.

6. I prefer to upshift/downshift (delete as appropriate) as I enter turn #1.

7. I will forward $_____ to the following charity in consideration of this request.
 Please circle as appropriate.
- The Help a Girl Get a Bike Fund
- The Kevin Beer Fund
- The CCS Gum Fund  (that's GUM not GUN)
- The Eric Brain Transplant Fund

Thank you for considering my request.

Sincerely,

Oh my gosh, I have never laughed so hard in all of my life.  Bonus points for RacerWannaBe for originality and creativity!  (And mentioning the Girl Needs A Bike Fund.)  Let me help you out a bit, though.
Point 2: Racing budgets don't help.  I'm broke too, but I deal with it.
Point 3: Gimpiness only gets you so far...unless it's a really cool scar, then send pictures.
Point 4: Oh geez, we'll just take your whole license away and be done with it!
Point 5: Gears don't count either.  I hardly get my Z50 out of second gear, but I'm still way cool.
Point 7: I'm not sure how this is valid...I'll read up on it.
Point 6: Very valid point--petition approved.   ;D

Tiffiney,

Glad I could help out!

But, I'm surprised you didn't push the Eric Brain Transplant Fund.  Or.....  maybe you were afraid no one would donate because they consider it hopeless case!

Greg #70--Yep
Dave--I think you know the answer to that
Tom--Thanks for the complement!  YEP
Super Dave--That's not very nice, now is it?  Don't take out your frustrations about the whole bikini rule on our F40 racers.  They can't help being old just like you can't help being hairy.
 :-*

Super Dave

Oops...Not being mean.

Not picking on anyone if F40 either.

Just noticing some interesting trends.  Not that it's new.  Seems like every year there are guys that get bumped to expert for an unknown reason.  They ask to be moved down, and they seem to have good reason, but they aren't.

Meanwhile...one expert gets moved down to amateur?  Was that really necessary?

As for hair...sorry, I wasn't gifted with a lot of hair.   ;D
