Damn Steve, sorry to read about this!  :(

"Man, that arthoscopic surgery is great stuff"  ;D  - Quote from my Father! LOL.....

Seriously, that sucks....I agree that you should at least get reimbursed for time missed due to that.  I'm sure they have insurance for just such a case.

Reminds me of that joke about the 3 legged, 1 eyed dog named lucky. It's time to change your post name to Lucky Steve. At least the season is over and you have all winter to get ready.

Steve, I may need the # of your lawyer. I can't even get the lawyer I contacted to call me back... after 3 weeks of calls.

Where are you doing your therapy?

My wife is a PT at Barnes Jewish and has told me some UGLY stories about therapy.  She has had a couple of roadracers as patients and takes good care of my fellow brothers.  Can you imagine doing therapy with someone that doesnt preach to you about how dangerous racing motorcycles can be?

Good luck with your surgery and therapy.

BTW - if your using Dr. Hunter, he is first class.

Stumpy had to bring in 8x10 pics of him racing to hang on the wall at his PT.  Then they flunked him and told him to see a surgeon.

Matt,

My attorney is a "general" attorney, however, if and when this goes on and he assigns a specialist to the case, I can give you his/her number.  I'll ask Keith for his specialist name and number.

TS,

I don't want to drag anyone least of all a student PT through the mud in a public forum, (yet!), but my Dr. is Dr Glen Johnson and he is excellent, and this will be my 3rd surgery with him, he also reconstructed ACL's in both knees for me.  BJC is quite a drive for me for PT, and actually the supervising therapist was encouraging me to get back in time for Daytona, so i was very happy with them up until the POP!

Can you ask your wife what type of reimbursement offer is typical in cases like this?
