I will need some testing after Daytona, be it a track day, Homestead Racing, California racing, wherever.

I need someone to test 3 different pairs of knee sliders, and compare the wear and feel. 1 of the pairs will be intuitive, the other 2 will be 2 materials Im trying out. So, the tester needs to be fairly hard on pucks. I need to know which compound will wear like the intuitives.

I provide all sliders and shipping free, you supply feedback, and possible review on teh site. They need to be tested on teh same track, preferably all one 1 race weekend.

Anyone interested?  I need this done before January, so I can have a batch ready to go by February sometime.

I am willing :D I can test the pucks on one of Team Po-Motion track days, I can give each set of pucks 1-3 entire sessions and provide feedbacks. I am pretty hard on pucks because I mostly wear on the corners, I have to rotate my pucks every couple of races because they wear down to the backing, I would love to get some longer wearing, non-grabbing pucks...

Nate, ever thought about just doing the testing at home?

Just get a block and tape it to a board or something.  Mount the slider to the board and drag it behind your car for set distance.  Weigh and measure the before and after results and you'd be ready to go.  Do it for all three...

Why do I sometimes go straight to the details and miss the obvious?  ::) GOOD point, SD. No, I didn't thinkof that. :P  :)

I think I still want someone to test them to make sure they aren't grabby or anything, but, yeah, that sounds like a good idea.

r6philly: That sounds good. I will get in touch with you within a few weeks, and let you know I have some pucks ready.

I don't need you to wear them out, as I think MightyDuc will also do some testing with the same prototype sets as well.

Thanx!

BTW: I was thinking that the sewing of the velcro/leather could be done on a home machine, but, yeah, that will NEVER happen. So, I will have to have someone else with an industrial machine do the sewing, which means the pucks will be around $35. Remember: compared to intuitive,  the MotoSliders knee pucks will be 33% thicker.

When are u going to make sliders for other bikes and not just the SV? not all of us are lucky enough to have and SV

This winter. I am going to start making sliders for other bikes, as well as the knee pucks.  What bike do you have?

Definitely going to be doing the 03 R6, and probably F2/3.

Brian Baker has a commercial machine.  Not sure if he uses it much.  Call him.  414*916*9559  he's like off of 45 and Silver Spring.

Really? Hmmmm
Maybe Jennifer can use it. I'll have to talk with Alexa, too, and see what works best for all of us.

Thanx!
