Then why doesnt the AMA run at Roebling, Jennings GP, Moroso, Homestead, I guess they all suck too. The great AMA goes to Road Atlanta and lets the racers run into concreate walls, thats real safety. I brought up Barber because of the elevation changes that upset the suspension, just the same thing you dont like about CMP. Turn 4 for example at barber, very fast up hill off camber, if you grab too much throttle it will highside you rightdown the next straight, flying through the air and sliding for about 100 yrds. Before you go running your month about that turn, I saw a guy do that right in front of me, it was one of the worst single bike crashes I have ever seen. That track must be too dangerous as well so lets get it off the schedule. I could go on but I dont care to disscuss this with someone who knows little to nothing about the subject. If you feel a track is unsafe for you, BTW all race tracks are unsafe,  you dont have to race.

I ran CMP this year and they have improved the track alot since last year. Turn 1 now is 12 feet wider to the outside. No tire barriers there anymore. The sand traps are wider and groomed. They will slow you down when you go in them. The curbing is nice and wide throught all the turns. Plus they have started paving the paddock area too.

This guy has no freaking clue. Stay home and play with your tricycle.

AMA did run Homestead, just like they ran streets of Miami a few years ago.Daytona is another bad track, but politics come to play in that one. There was a big hype over the Barber track at how awsome the track was going to be.I haven't seen a post yet how the track is off the charts.Everyone seems to talk about what a great facility and pits. Not much talk at all ,didn't seem to live up to it's hype. There was a couple AMA riders who where not to impressed over the track.Don't worry I'm not going to say a thing about Barber because I was never there! One bad part of a race track is understandable but when there are a few parts that add up I'm sorry, just a design flaw with CMP.Great for club racing and second to third year novice.Only a kook with a closed mind would challange me on a safety issue. What do you ride an SV with yellow plates, mid packer in the 600 class looking for that one thing that could make you fast.Sorry jr life is not fair and to short to defend a bad track.

I think Barber has some problems that were related to the stupid FIM people.  European morons...we save their butt$ how many times?

Anyway, CMP, MAM, Putnam Park, Gingerman...its that moron Alan Wilson...hmm, seems like that might be a Euro name. 8)

Honestly, he's a car guy, he can make a neat layout, but he likes to have a bunch of steel barriers.

As for where to have a race...if you've got money and you can put up a purse, I think the AMA will race with you.

THE_D.O.C.

i can turn 40 flat at CMP with no problem. don't know what aaronson's is.

if he's THAT concerned about safety, he should not race anywhere.

Hey DOC?  You going to VIR this weekend?

racer865

I would like CMP back on SE roster also but dont want roebling or jennings taken off I like a variety and like to go to different areas of country. Trey bring your FZ to VIR Im bringing my streetbike to ride out for dinner after races.

ronin

;DTake Jenniings off, most of the SE guys aren't there anyway, turns out to be a florida thing, put CMP back on its a ture SE track. just my two cents

badmonkey

I personally think Jennings is a joke, The SE has to go down to florida region yet there are no races where they come to us. You only get a couple guys chasing points that go down there. The track is fun but out in the middle of BFE.
Do you want to touch my Monkey?

TreyBone

Can I touch your monkey? Did you get any damage down there? (isabel)
