car people suck major azzzzzzzz....

hey all, how's it going?? i have a story for you all... it really pi$$es me off...

ok, i'm coming back from getting munchies from the store for Blackhawk tomorrow (andy's mints, smooth and melty mints, and sunkist jelly candies for nate ;))... anyways... i pull out of the grocery store parking lot... the speed limit is 35mph, so i do my customary 5 over, and this huge, white escalade-looking thing (and driven by a 30 year old white guy, for all who must know  ;)) eventually catches up behind me, and gets real f***ing close.  so, i want to do something to get him off my back (but i cant change lanes or anything, as it is a 2 lane rural highway), so i glance back in my mirror a couple of times and then shake my head, hoping he'll get the idea and back off... it doesnt work, so i slow down a little bit, and he backs off some (but i never tap my brakes, and besides, i have huge issues with that)  eventually, the speed limit increases to 45, and i do 50, but the jerk keeps up with me.  eventually, i catch up to a car infront of me, and this vehicle is going slower than me, so i have to slow down some.  the guy behind me just gets closer.  after a while, the car infront of me slows down to about 40, and i guess this finally ticks this guy off.  i look back in my mirror, and i see him waving his arms at me (with one of them out the window) in a "what the he11 is your problem? why are you going so slow?" guesture.  so i motion to the car infront of me, and then flip him off.  right at this time, the road changes to a 4 lane road, so i motion for him to pass me.  so, he gets into the lane on my right and hangs out the window and starts glaring at me, so i flip him off repetedly until i have to turn left onto a freeway onramp.  then, suddenly, the jerk gets behind me, follows me onto the freeway, and then gets off at the same exit as me, and turns at the next stop light, never to be seen again.  

why do people seem to think that just because they have a bigger vehicle than you that they can try and push you around and do whatever the he11 they want?? this guy certainly picked the wrong person to mess with, 'specially since i didnt go a single mph over my limit....

man, that must have looked absolutely hee-larious to see small little 12-year old looking me, in a tiny little mazda protegee flip this guy off like 8 times  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

sorry to rant everyone.... hope i didnt bore you all... ;)

I know in WI if you called the cops and reported a road rager he would get a SERIOUSLY big ticket.


If he was behind me doing that and freaking out like that, do you realize how easy it is to accidentally go into 3rd gear at 60mph from 4th while trying to get into 5th? New Escalades/tahoes/yukons dont take frontal impact well.  ;D

     There is a strange result which happens to my BIG ARSE TRUCK when mini-van mom suddenly gets sucked into my draft dangerously close. The wind drag caused by the drafting vehicle causes my truck to slow down continuously until the draft is adaquately broken and maintained. I have had this drag me all the way down to 15 mph in a 45 mph zone before, but amazingly it resolves itself the slower my truck is dragged down to.  ;)  ;D

Uh, really, what is good is shooting him the bird going to accomplish?   He is an idiot and is displaying that for everyone to see.  The universal #1 symbol will only make morons like him cause trouble.  I think you would be better happily driving on knowing you are superior without any gestures.
