the best birthday present...

ok, yesterday was my 18th birthday (which means that my parents cant say a d**n thing about me riding on a bike)... me and nate have been planning this ride for almost 2 years ;D   it took some getting used to to put everything on  (the sleeves on my jacket are a tad too long which made putting on gloves really hard(short arms >:() alexa, can this be fixed  ???)  

finally, me and nate get on his CB750 K, and i am nervous as he11! i am holding onto nate as tight as i can.  we make our first turn, ok no crashing yet, so all must be good! right? wrong... about a block later, the rear brake locks up, so we stop.  it turns out that connector holding the torque arm to the brake sheered right off... rather than ruin the whole day, we decided to go rear-brake-less and gathered all the hanging stuff with zip-ties and rubberbands (just like a true racer ;D)  

the rest of the day was un-eventful mechanically-wise... riding-wise, it was awsome!!! we rode about 60 miles total... some freeway, some city streets,some twisty bits by the lake, and it was sooo cool.... i cant wait till i can be the pilot!  ;D

according to nate, i am the best passenger he's ever had, even people he's been giving rides to for a while.  8)

it was really really cool!!! thanx a bunch nate!!!! ;)

Yeah I was riding around the pits to see if anybody was there but all I seen was Nate so i stop to talk to him.  I just live on the other side of the track.  I will tell him u said hi
