Camping at Barber

Did anyone camp last weekend?  How was it?  I'm wanting to go to the AMA races there in Sept. and thought about camping.  Good idea/bad idea?

we Tent camped in one of the "Parking/Camping lots"

Its a huge field. about 1000 feet from the paddock. bring ear plugs if your a light sleeper cause there a lot of critters making noises !!   Theres no facilities in the camping area, but the paddock has bathrooms and free showers.

They have no power for lights or fans etc. If you camp, you need to camp in you generator powered motorhome. Tents will get carried away by the wild turkeys roaming the grounds.;D
