Hey bro...what kind of times do you and Mulvaney run at Moroso?  I am thinking of running GTU instead of Supertwins cuz I have been so bored in that race riding by myself the last two times there.  I think if I can get into the 46's all the time (did it once...lol), I can probably run with the group that is just off your pace and maybe battle for wood in GTU.  At the very least, I'm sure there will be SOMEBODY for me to race with.  What do you think?

I agree with your plan. You would have more challenge. My best times have been in the GTU as my tires are fresh and the track is coolest it is all day. Ran high 1:42s in the beggining of the race 2 months ago only to feak out when i saw rain drops on my visor, slowed 5 seconds per lap and got passed at the end. Mulvany as you know crashed but had done 43s in practice saturday. Last month i was only doing mid 43-high 44. Not happy but good enough for the lead for most of the race only to be passed by Londono who is riding well (beat him in md wt supersport though).
You should finish on the podium if you can get it to -46-47 im sure. Your a good rider! Pre entry will help but be consistant. Mulvaney will be back i think so it will be interesting. Im counting on him riding well.
see ya!

Thanks for the info.  You guys run away running those times, right?  I can run consistent 47's and hopefully can dip well into the 46's with the faster bikes around me egging me forward.  I will decide this weekend.  See ya there!

theres about 4 guys that are there fighting for a few laps, then we spread just a bit near the end. David white, Laz Diaz, Londono, Mulvaney, Carlos areal somebody too..Pretty far out there, yes.
Im not a good finisher however.. I have great starts and ride very hard for a few laps, getting through teh field if i didnt get the holeshot often having a 10+ bike lead on 2nd place...only to have my times go up a little and then struggle for the win or perhaps 2nd/3rd. Working on stamina more but im not sure thats it..i think i just start thinking too much rather than just ride!
ALso having girlfriend trouble..gotta get my head outa my a**

I doubt it's stamina..more like concentration probably.  That's why we don't get paid to do this yet...lol.  I am pretty much decided on GTU now, should be fun.  I really think I can run in the low 46's on this bike and eventually drop it into the high 44's if I get a friggin rear shock...lol.  I can't get off the corners on it, and I also know where I can make up at least a second a lap from the way I rode last time.  I've decided a little improvement at a time is better than crashing. ;)
