turn 8 is the one right before the tunnel and my prays are with artie and his family.  Hope the best for him and hope he gets better soon

    Which turn is turn 8 where this happened? Is it the LH turn after the tunnel? Just not sure of the numbering scheme of turns at HP.

The corner he crashed in was the down hill left hander that is after the tunnel.  It was turn ten in the original configuration, but I think people are calling it turn eight, but it might technically be turn seven by the old standard.

if u want to get technical,  by the track that we were racing on it was right between turn 10 and 11.  Thats were it was by the track we were using

And if you want to get technical, based on the tanget of the bike's cornering radius, the crash occured at the exit of turn ten... ;D
