Any racers here from Las Vegas?

Hey Guys/Gals,
I'm having a serious case of I-hate-this-area-and-it's-traffic-and-over-priced-housing and have been thinking of picking up and moving to Nevada.  Between the Pacifc CCS schedule, endless areas for off roading, dirtbikes, and Mt Biking,Lake Mead...etc I can't imagine I'd ever get bored.   So does it ever get old?  I've already discussed this with the gf and she's on board.  I have friends out there who absolutely love it, but I wanted to get a perspective from people with common interests...ie...racers.
