Currently I have no CCS liscense.  What will it cost in order to get liscensed to run Team Challange for a FUSA weekend?

As found in the New Racer's documentation on the CCS site:

Most CCS races are two day
events held on a weekend
(Saturday/Sunday) and the
fees are as follows:
License Fee:
$100.00 per Season
$65.00 after July 1st.
$25.00 after September 1st.
All competition licenses expire
December 31,2003

Entry Fees:
$70.00 first entry
$50.00 second entry
$35.00 each additional
$70.00 each purse paying
class regardless

Special Events:
Daytona and selected three
day events may be slightly
higher.

Gate Pass:
$30/$35 Three day pass
$20/$25 Two day pass
$10/$15 One day

New License Clinic:
$150.00 for CCS Licensing
(Not available at all locations.)

the license is the least of your expenses...

If you don't have $2-3k in your pocket, (or already have fuel, tires, etc) you'll come up short...

Um, Garth has raced a few times.  I think he even carried a single digit expert number plate a few years back.

Garth, I don't think you need a FUSA license for Team Challenge, so you should just be able to get the CCS license and be ok.  But, if you want to do FUSA Sportbike, Superbike, etc...then it's an added expense on top of the CCS license too.

Thanks SD.  Was not sure that I needed a FUSA liscense since the Team Challange is held durring FUSA events.  Also it appears as if they did away with the Team Owner fee as well.

Yeah...no team owner fee.  Just go the website www.ccsracing.com and click on forms/rules and there is a team challenge entry form you have to fill out and send in.  Send money later.  Hope this helps.

My mistake and apologies to you Garth.  Didn't mean to appear insulting  :)
