I would cap the horns, it really hurts when one lands on them.   :o

LOL!

Not many places to race a Waterbuffalo in vintage motorcycle orgs...

But, if you did, geometry is the key, just like modern bikes.  The new tires that you can put on vintage machinery puts loads on the chassis that they never had at the time.  Additionally, they just didn't understand how the chassis should be during that era.

Oh, and the Waterbuffalo's are heavy...it will be an expensive diet.

I was reading about the factory race effort. The X-11 I think. It was a tire and chain eater. I learned how to ride on one. (not an X-11) Now that I think about it, I think I'll pass on the idea. Those things handled like crap. I was spit over the handlebars once at over a hundred.  :o (That was when I was 22. I didn't get on a bike again untill I was 39 :-/)

X11 sounds about right.  I believe the 500 air cooled models were x75's.  I rode a T500 a couple of years ago.  I had portions of an RD chassis welded into the frame.  Wasn't bad, but it could have been a whole lot better.

Wow Super Dave, an H1?
One of these day's I'd like to have an H2 and an XLCR (high hopes...).  I have a buddy that always use to ride GT500's.  He still has an RE5, but it's in sad shape.

H2 would be fun, but there is no class for in in AHRMA.

Lots to do with the H1 right now.  Here's what we had in January...

Notice the nice Woodcraft footpegs.
