I have pulled the engine to bore the cylinder, replace the piston and rings. I am using honda parts. I wonder if anyone has any suggestions/experience with other modifications since I already have it apart. I would rather spend the money on parts now and not have to ever tear down the engine again. Please keep longevity in mind when suggesting modifications. I don't want to be pulling the engine every year. The bike is now officially a track bike only.

Check out RC51.net for all your performance questions. http://www.motorush.com/forums/categories.cfm?catid=86&zb=5541733
I would prolly go with high comp pistons and mori stage 2 cams. A little head porting and polishing would prolly work wonders too.  All depends on how much $$$ you really want to spend. Horsepower=$$$.

Unforgiven,
I'm all ears. Although I have finished the bike for now and it runs great, I know I will be back at it in the future. I am looking for any valuable information. Always learning. PS how's my old gas tank?

PS unforgiven, I may be interested in getting that tank back. What would it take. Were you able to fix the leak? Last year I went off in 7 at BHF and put a sizeable dent in my two week old tank. I have many other Q's for you as well. I'll check the posting.

Dude,  I dont know about the "your old tank thing" ???
In fact... some amature borrowed my dented one and never brought it back.  I heard he crashed good at BHF the weekend he borrowed it.  If he was going to keep it, he should have payed me for it. >:(
Who have you been talking too?
If you need to talk to me about stuff, try my hotmail or give me a call.  If you need parts, I have alot to sell.  Tech stuff....Not over the general airwaves ;D
I do still have a fuel tank for sale.  a race tank and one or two stock tanks.  which leaves me with one tank to put back on the bike if needed.  mabe if your serious I can send you pics.
