MARRC will be offering new corner worker training this weekend at the WERA weekend at Summit Point Raceway in Summit Point, WV.

Please meet at the covered area outside Chez Summit Point(the cafe) at 7:00AM on Saturday. The morning will be spent in class with Roger Bacon, our lead trainer.  All students will be invited to come eat lunch with the rest of the corner worker crew.  After lunch the students will go back to the class for a short period and then be sent out to a turn.  After spending a couple hours on a turn with the crew for that turn the students will come back in to the classroom.

After class the students will be invited to dinner and their entrance fee will be refunded for the day(if they aren't coming back on Sunday).  Workers that want to come back and work a turn on sunday (along with an experienced crew..we won't stick you out there by yourself) will have their entrance fee refunded at lunch on Sunday.

If you are planning on coming please visit www.marrc.org to see a list of items that we recommend you bring.

We suggest that all racers come out and corner work at least once so they can see how important the role is.  Plus it's a great starting point for anyone that wants to get into road racing.

Even if you are not sure if you can cornerwork, the class is a great introduction to racing.  You get a tour of the track, get to see starts and tech inspection, and a great overview of a race day.  You even get free admission and lunch too.

I highly recommend it, but then I'm biased!!
