Does anybody know if there will be Open Practice of any kind at Roebling on Friday, June 14th (the day before the next regional there)?

If so, how much does it cost? Is pre-registration (for the practice) required or recommended?

Thanks.

Yes, there always is. It is run by the track. $80 for the day. I usually show up at lunch and pay $40 and get more than enough practice. Best deal in racing.

I always knew that you were cheap, but i'll let Richard at roebling know that you want to pay fuul price after lunch.

I will be there for the whole weekend. I can't wait to go.  It's kinda weird that here it is almost June, and we havn't run there yet? Not to mention the nightlife in downtown savannah ROCKS!!

Ditto on the timing. I am in the Florida Region but I always try to make it to Roebling once or twice a year. I guess the track is really popular with our four wheel friends and scheduling is pretty tough.

Are the tire guys there at Friday practice?

Good, you'll be there early, so you can setup near electricity, if you need it.

Also, FYI, getting into the track requires crossing the track itself. Thus, you can only go in/out during the day between practice sessions/races. Plan accordingly.

You should be more specific. There are seven kinds of b-b-q. Eastern North Carolina style, Western North Carolina style, South Carolina style, Memphis style, Texas style, and two others I can't even remember. Wha'chu won't? :) Not that I know of any in Savannah...

However, if you like the Blues (since you're looking for an "authentic" Southern experience), Eric Culberson's blues club is down town just a block or so from one end of the City Market. If you can get by there on a night when he and his band are playing, it's well worth the effort to be there. He can play the guitar!
