Does anyone know if this rear view camera/monitor set-up would be legal (get through tech) for CCS racing?

Shouldn't matter should it?

spyderchick

As long as it's attached firmly and can't come loose they should allow it. Have fun!

Do or do not, there is no "try".

I know it has been done, so it must not be against the rules.

It doesn't amount to much more than a lap timer size wise or plastic wise so I can't really see tech having a problem with it.

On the other hand it won't help me much since I usually don't have anyone behind me anyway. Well at least until the Experts come around and lap me.

The best way to utilize a rear view set up is to jump the start and watch the rest of the grid going for it behind you  ;D

I did the reverse of that......sitting on the grid with my arms up, bike in neutral, thinking it was a two wave start - it wasn't.

My bike died in Daytona when I was on the FRONT ROW... Flag drop, bike die. Think about scott russle, wave hand and hit someone in the face as they go by. Very scary... Fortunately it was a rain race so people weren't starting all that hard...

You do get to see what the rear tire is doing... and not doing...

(...2 weekend old rear tire... ;D)
