My lead mechanic and good friend Butch lost his best friend a few days ago due to a crash on the street with a car.  He was riding his V-Rod home from work and a 39 year old lady pulled out in front of him.  The impact detached his Aorta from his heart and he bled to death.  Jim Perno was his name and there was a massive funeral for him today, with the procession on motorcycles stretching over a mile.  Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers and be as careful as you can if you must ride on the street.  Godspeed Jim. :'(
