600 in unlimited classes
« on: June 22, 2020, 07:04:20 pm »
I’m an expert racer in the CMRA but new to CCS. I’m going to race NJMP on 7/4-7/5. Is it common for people to race 600s in the unlimited class? Planning to ride my R6 in MW, HW and unlimited. Any reason I shouldn’t? (I’m not worried about performance index or championship standings.)

Thanks!

Its not common, but have seen some. Tracks like Road America, well a 600 is gonna get its ass handed to it. Tight tracks, its not a big deal. I think the track record for unlimited and MW at Blackhawk Farms are only about a second apart.
