As of this moment, the weather forecast for the 200 weekend is looking very nice !   Nice racing weather, nice camping weather !

Just posted this evening on the Daytona International Speedway website....   there will be no spectators at the 200 or the TT.

We arrived at the speedway about 11:30 today.  Our first stop was to pick up our media credentials where we were informed that photographers will not have access to pit road at any time :-(
Good news is that I saw more motorhome and rv trailers on the infield than I have seen in 15 years or so.   I asked a few gate guards and they say that the crowds appear large to them also.

The weather is perfect !

No more racing, practice, etc at Daytona this weekend.  :finger: :finger:     It's nobody's fault....   things change and have to be dealt with.
The American Flat Track TT is also cancelled.  (Maybe it was postponed...  I was too shocked at the meeting to take notes.)
The Daytona 200 will be run during Biketoberfest.
All credentials, garage rentals, etc will be honored at the October event.   So HANG ON TO YOUR CREDENTIALS.
I think it is a safe bet to assume that CCS / ASRA will soon put out a statement by email or on the official website.

We talked with a team from Germany, another from Ireland, and a team from Venezuela.   We heard there is a racer here from Portugal, so this is very sad new to these racers.

Some of the questions heard in the garages were if there will be delays for the european team trying to return home.

We will post garage photos later.   Right now we are trying to decide if we are driving back tonight or go ahead and camp tonight.

This is the first thing I saw when I was walking toward the garages.   Even though there were no 'spectators' allowed, I guess they did not want race team support & mechanics above the garages because it could look like 'spectators.'
