Confirmed for 2020 - Aprilia RS 660 twin
« on: March 30, 2019, 09:50:35 am »
This machine looks incredible, and it fits into the lightweight class fair and square.

SV650 riders start crying/complaining NOW!   :twofinger:

Damn you have to admit this looks awesome.

Now   THAT   is   ART !

... also introduced a new 660cc, parallel twin mill, designed after the V4 cut in half. ...
hmmmmm.....   but they did not go with a V-2 ?

Aprilia chose a twin-parallel for its compact size and its low weight, elements that should contribute to making the future RS a lightweight mid-sizer

100 hp and 330 pounds.   :woohoo:

Price, um...  :err:   Not posted yet but I look at the specs and I'm thinking $10K-$12K.  But you think about what people are dumping into their race bikes and it's not really that bad.  This is a bike that isn't going to need anything but race fairings.

Will also be legal for Moto America Twins class, but like the KTM, might fail to be homologated if it's too fast. :(
