I like the expansion chamber idea as well.  Even better how about something to protect that lower cylinder.?

The problem with the swingarm sliders were the size, just stuck out too far. I don't think the location on the RC is much different than anyother bike.

Sean, I don't recall ever seeing a lower cylinder damaged in a crash.
