Just wanting to double check with some of you more expierenced racers. I am a bit unsure if I have my eyes set on the right classes to enter.
The bike is 1999 Yamaha R6
mods done to it-
R1 Forks
DynoJet jet kit
Yoshi slipon
K&N air filter

When I run slicks what classes will I be able to run in? How about DOTs? I have read the rule book numerous times I just cant seem to feel confident on my choices.  :banghead:

With DOTs, you should be able to run in any of the Middleweight classes or up (heavyweight and unlimited). With slicks, you won't be able to run in the supersport classes.

Your bike, due to the forks, will be Superbike and up on modifications and Middleweight and up on displacement, so you can run DOT or Slicks in the classes your bike is eligible for. DOTs are only required in Supersport and Sportbike classes.

Eligible classes based on the mods
Middleweight Superbike
Middleweight Grand Prix
GTU
Heavyweight Superbike (there is not a Heavy GP class)
Unlimited Superbike
Unlimited Grand Prix
GTO
Then if you are over the age of 40
Formula 40 Middleweight
Formula 40
