it's crazy
Early into the video, at the 26 second mark, the cyclists are seen slowing down in front of the Range Rover and coming to a stop after the SUV collides with one of the cyclists. Moments later, the Range Rover is seen plowing through several of the stopped cyclists and speeding off. The cyclists are then seen chasing after the SUV along Henry Hudson Parkway, cutting off the driver just before the exit ramp for the Cross Bronx Expressway and other local roads at the five minute mark of the video.

Pretty damn funny when the bike that got hit first slowed right down in front of the rover. And from the look of it he was trying to get hit. Keep looking back and then slow right down when its 5 ft from you. Yep bright idea. Another reason for dash cams in cars. You know damn well one of those idiots made a death threat/ showed weapon to the driver (who had his wife and child in the car) who then took off. If he was intent of just running them over, he would had played pinball with them when they chased him.

Whats really bad is people are defending the "bikers"............

Rob, I agree with you 100%  Like Swiest said, people are getting all indignant and supporting the bikers. I posted up pretty much what you said on another venue and my post was deleted altogether. They don't want to remotely address that this guy was defending his family from a pack of possible gang members on  bikes attacking his vehicle. I cannot believe it even ended as it did considering one of them jerked open the rear door (where the child was). At that point, if it was my family in danger, the city would have had to roll every ambulance in the area to clean up the mess.

There is alot of conversation about this on other motorcycle forums but I think this sums it up the best:  play stupid games win stupid prizes.

The white GSXR gets in front of the RR and brake checks him and gets tapped.....the group then stops the RR and begins confronting him.  My family in the car I'd run over the bikes too.  They case him and every time he gets stuck in traffic try to rip his door open or break his window.  They're lucky he wasn't CCW or he would have been more than justified at least showing his weapon if not pulling the trigger on the ones who are fighting to get his door open or smash his window to get to him.

What really is gonna suck is other bikers in the area (that had nothing to do with this crap) are gonna get screwed with now. Supposedly these same numbnuts did a similar thing back in 2011 with a prius driver.

Wasnna stunt? Fine. but either find a deserted road or get permission to use a parking lot. but then again that would mean they wouldnt be seen by everyone.

BTW the idiot who brake checked the RR has been charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and menacing. He wasnt the guy who was run over. The other idiot who beat the driver turned himself in today.

There is ignorance being displayed by so many people. it is outrageous the comments that are out there based upon the limited exposure of the video. There is so much rage being displayed by posters on the you tube video based upon what they think they see. All of it is speculation but it continues. I can only draw the conclusion that even as outrageous the actions are of the bikers or the driver of the SUV, it is the same rage they have displayed in their post that incited the actions taken in that incident.

We as humans are quick to respond and do so out of emotion and not rational thinking. Seems to me just a set of actions that create the reaction of emotion leading to even more stupid decisions.

Riding responsibly is an art form. Riding with a certain set of manners is not we as Americans do. Many Americans have the sense of entitlement as opposed to many other countries that never get the privilege. Imagine if we had the tiered system for driving or riding where a new rider would need to spend some time on a smaller displacement bike.
