Just posted important info on CCS' home page, but will post here as well.

Was just reminded by Road America that move in after dark is now prohibited:

1.      A section has been added (Section 2c, item #18) addressing move-in after dark.  This is now prohibited due to the lack of lights in the paddock.  We do not feel it is safe to be parking rigs in the dark not only for those doing the parking but also for those already in place in the paddock.

Credentials will be available from 7am to 8pm on Friday. No move in after dark. Credentials will be cash only until 5:00pm Friday due to the STT practice day on course that day.  Once  ASRA/CCS opens registration 5:00pm Friday, credentials can be paid by cash, check, credit or debit card. ASRA/CCS registration will close at 8:00pm Friday.

Can't we move in on THURSDAY (if its before dark), if we are already pre-paid and signed up for the Track Day?  The track days are being held Thursday and Friday........   :banghead:

Let's make it as difficult as possible for everyone. Unbelievable. Some people have to work all day then drive up after. Some people don't want to blow their money on a hotel. I'm guessing Road America does want to pay a gate guard or doesn't have personal available so they just lock the gate. It's not safe is a crock of shit.

You should be fine if you're already setup before thursday (night).  I think this is meant for those who are going to setup after 8pm on Friday night...but no doubt this is pretty ridiculous.  Chicago to Milwaukee is about a 3 hour drive so plenty of guys are going to get off work at 5 and not be able to make it up there CCS really SHOULD send emails to everyone that is pre-entered...what if someone is bringing a bike in a pickup truck?   How do you make this decision this late in the riding season.....theres snow in Wisconsin all winter long, why not make that decision then?  Dumb
Well how could there be two number 1's? It'd be number 11 then?

Great, now I'm not only a working stiff, but now have to leave at 3 AM on Saturday morning to make it up there by 7 AM and start getting things set up.

Nice incentive to get racers out to the track. <thumbs DOWN>
