Your last post Kev was what I was flailing around trying to get at - you or ed on a sv - yup I buy it 100%...me on that same sv...well hopefully this year I'll get to the point where it would matter...did get the rear dancing in sept in the carosel on the ss bike running the DOT race 160, not sure the average sv racer would see a full second in difference with just the rim/tire change (so ok I consider myself closer to average than you aliens... 8-)p  ) - still want to see CCS let us run a 5.5inch rim on a ss sv so we have some real tire choices...it's getting thin....

Oh and I never take much seriously so don't ever worry about me in that regard hehe...belive me I do listen when you talk tho mr lap record holder (yes the ss bike is getting a 14 tooth front this year....)

Oh fogot to pop in - I suppose it would be possible to run a 200 with mods that moved the chain out a bit further - there isn't a lot of deflection clearance on the 180 tho running a 520 chain as it is

160 -> 180 = 20mm (roughly) more tread width which is about 4/5th inch
20mm more on the 200 and I think the chain might meet the tire a bit on the slack side in corners hehe

not tried it personally tho

Along these same lines, is anyone running a 200?

I just can not pass Vaughn Ali on that ninja 250 with out laughing  :lmao: (me on my Ducati in a different race with a split start)

seriously, you guys should give him a pole starting position every race.  He has to have a 100#s on Walter.  :cheers:

What year GSXR rims work for a first gen SV.  What other mods need to be done to make it work, Looking for new 160's is getting harder.
